Letter by e-mail; Dear Rod I must write and thank you for your great performances at the two cabaret nights here recently. I have had tremendous feedback from our customers. Each and everyone of them said they had a superb evening and many remarked on the great range of material that you deliver with excellent timing and the topicality of many of the stories that you tell. With the current economic climate, it is important for us all to provide great value for money to our customers but also maintain top quality food, service and entertainment. Your two performances were top class and gave us all a very welcome relief from the endless bad news that we have faced over the last few months in the media. There is no better medicine than laughter and you prescribed it incredibly well here DOCTOR BEECH! Look forward to the next time. John King (owner) The Bulls Head Inn - Chelmarsh 01746 861469. 22 May 2009. (please see links page)
Letter by E-mail; Dear Rod, I write to express my thanks for your input at our last lunch. The Thames Valley Friday Luncheon Club has been running for over 20 years, we are now a mixed group with a wide age range. Entertaining such a group is not without its difficulties as quite often there is someone who comes out with "I've heard that one before!" or one group who have had a very cordial lunch and cannot stop talking to listen. Any way your style and presentation ensured this did not happen. The presentation, content and execution of your humour ensured everyone enjoyed the afternoon. Thanks to you lunch was rounded off with our usual collection for charity which raised £700. Regards Paul Easter Chairman. The Thames Valley Friday Luncheon Club @ The Shillingford Bridge Hotel, Wallingord Oxon. Friday 17th April 2009
